Don't Look Up

It's sometimes hard to walk a straight line in Manhattan. There's so much to see above eye level. When it comes to buildings, NYC runs the gamut. From the brownstones in the village to the towering monuments of steel and glass, all styles abound for your appreciation. The city's skyscrapers range in style from Cass Gilbert’s 1913 Woolworth Building to it's new neighbor, the shiny, twisting, metallic masterpiece, New York by Frank Gehry.

In every direction there are contrasts of the old and the new, there's simple contemporary and old world detail, there's shiny glass and steel and terra cotta hues of stone. There's the breathtaking Ansonia apartmentt building neighboring the newest Apple Store wonder. Good luck with those neck cramps....
