Streets of New York

One of the wonders of New York, from a photographer's point of view, is that no matter what part of the city you find yourself in, there's always something happening on the street. Just exit any subway portal and there it all is in its unique splendor.

It's a feast for the senses, the sounds of the eternal traffic jam, the cacophony of horns and sirens, and the sidewalks are filled with the sounds of cosmopolitan life, a myriad of languages being transmitted by an incredidible cross section sampling of nationalities. They are young and old, fat and thin, fast and slow, quiet and in your face, sporting all manners of fashion attire and body adornments, and they are all types, city slicker con artists, families, performers, dog walkers, young hipsters, tourists and locals, some working, some exploring, some just going about their day
